I’m Vic Baker, an innovator, leader, researcher, entrepreneur, and engineer with over 25 years of experience. I’ve honed my ability to architect solutions where none existed before. I thrive on the challenge of complex problems and find fulfillment in transforming abstract concepts into practical realities. My work with clients like the Department of Defense and Department of Energy is a testament to this approach.
My journey began with a deep dive into virtual reality, visualization, and geographic information systems (GIS), leading multiple R&D teams at a Research 1 University and teaching graphics programming, game design, and virtual reality courses.. This foundation in complex systems and data management prepared me for the next challenge: building cutting-edge AI training software with support from the National Science Foundation. While these experiences were invaluable, I ultimately found my true passion in harnessing the power of big data and cloud computing. As a Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, I help organizations unlock the full potential of the cloud to achieve their business objectives and drive innovation.
